23 April 2012 FOAM SHEET IN RUSSIA UNION Officine Meccaniche SpA has signed an agreement with a Russian customer to supply a complete system for extrusion of XPE, it will produce composite sheets (XPE-HDPE, XPE-AL and other compatible materials with foam polyethylene) for packaging and thermal insulation for buildings. The line composed of gravimetric dosing system at 5 components, co-rotating twin-screw extruder ZP 72X/32, automatic rolling units and double winding station, which is also automatic, will be able to produce a XPE sheet with thickness selectable from 0,7 to 8 mm and width between 1000 and 1250 mm. |
