Union is increasingly present in American market with the sale to an important plastic materials processing company of the new extrusion line for the production of PET/PP sheet for rigid thermoformed food packaging applications.
The line will be equipped with single screw extruder with double venting system, supply by 100% recycling material, coming from post-consumed bottle and trims and mechanical calander with 500-800-500 mm rolls to ensure a flow rate of 1300 kg with PET. It will produce rigid sheet with thickness variable from 0.13 to 2.5 mm based on final product required and useful width 1300 mm.
